Rockford, Illinois has been my hometown since attending Rockford College, where I received my BFA in Art with a major in Printmaking and a minor in Textiles.
In 2010 I retired as a graphic designer and digital photo retoucher to concentrate on finding my own artistic direction.. When I am not at one of my computers, I do felting, house remodelling and costume design.
My family and I enjoy wearing the costumes I design and construct at historical re-enactment events like the Bristol Renaissance Fair, The Feast of the Hunter's Moon and Steampunk Festivals.
In addition to my fondness for black and white patterns (especially stripes), I like bright colors. I am a collector of handwork, Steampunk and the Arts and Crafts Movement.
